ELECTING MORE MEPs IN 2009

LDEG is hosting two events at conference. As well as the fringe event on the EU and Conflict Resolution in the neighbourhood on Tuesday (1pm - 2pm), we have an (unadvertised) event on Monday lunchtime with Graham Watson MEP, Ben Jephcott and Catherine Bearder talking to us about how we can elect more Lib Dem MEPs in 2009.
Come and have your say on: Key campaign messages, Tackling UKIP, Squeezing the Green Vote, Exposing Tory hypocrisy, and Opposing Labour centralism as well as how to maximise our vote in a proportional election.
The speakers are Graham Watson MEP, leader of ALDE, Catherine Bearder from the "Initowinit" group of lead candidates as well as being LDEG vice chair and Ben Jephcott, a campaign expert.
The meeting will be chaired by Phil Bennion of LDEG.
