About LDEG
LDEG is the association for UK Liberal Democrat members and activists who are interested in European politics.
As a group, LDEG provides a forum for the discussion of European political issues with a focus on the European Union and Britian's role in the EU.
The group also promotes a greater understanding of European political affairs. To to this LDEG helps to:
- Prepare and distribute European political campaign material to LibDem members and activists.
- Publish briefings on European policies.
- Set up and run stalls and fringe meetings at federal, state and regional conferences.
- Arrange discussion meetings on European themes.
- Provide information on Liberal Democrat activities in European politics.
- Organise educational visits to Brussels
LDEG are always happy to welcome new members and to hear from anyone who has an interest in European politics or Lib Dem European policy.
