Free Maps of Europe for Universities and Schools

8.14.14am BST (GMT +0100) Thu 10th May 2007

As part of the 50th anniversary as well as Springday and Europe Day celebrations, national representation offices of the European Commission are offering the new 2007-edition of a plastified geographical map of Europe, size 87 x 101 cm to universities and educational institutions. Those kind of large wallmaps are usually sold via sales agents for 20 € which probably accounts for the frequent inquiries to Commission offices as to the availability of cost free copies. 90,000 of those maps have been ordered to be given away completely free-of-charge to any school, university or other education service in the UK as long as stocks last.

All universities can order as many maps as they require , if they are based in the UK, via websites below -
