Young European Movement Congress - Sunday 28th June3.54.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 25th Jun 2009 Young Liberal Democrats interested in Europe are invited to The Young European Movement Congress which takes place on Sunday 28th June at Convent Garden Dragon Hall Trust. The agenda includes breakaway workshop groups and the election of a new national executive. The Young EM says - "With the European election results upon us, the time has come to re-launch and refresh the Young European Movement, enabling it to gain new energy and direction for the forthcoming year. You are therefore invited to attend the Young European Movement Congress 2009. This will be a chance for you to: 1.voice your views and ideas on what you feel the YEMs objectives should be in 2009, and where the priorities lie 2. discuss ways in which you think we can achieve our goals 3. put yourself forward to be part of the Executive Committee, and/or take part in the election for the Executive Committee 4. meet other members and have fun! The congress will take place on Sunday 28th June, at the Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust (http://www.dragonhall.org.uk/facilities/green.html). The event will begin at 1pm, and finish at 4pm.
