The Liberal Democrat European Group (LDEG) convenes an annual visit to European Union (EU) Institutions, government representations and leading opinion formers in Brussels. There are a handful of places left for the 25 places available on the visit. Participants will be Liberal Democrat members who will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis taking into account the diversity of the group. Preference will be given to LDEG members.

This visit will focus on the state of the Brexit negotiations, efforts to #exitfrombrexit and the future of UK-EU relations. Confirmed speakers include: Steve Bullock, former senior UK negotiator in the EU; Catherine Bearder, Liberal Democrat MEP; European Parliament Official; Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP, Vice President ALDE Party Bureau; Dr Helena Raulus, Head of the Joint Brussels Office of the UK Law Societies; and leading members of Pro-EUROPA. Speakers to be confirmed include representatives of the EU Task Force for the Brexit negotiations, the Irish Permanent Mission to the EU and a MEP from sister party D66. Most sesions will last one hour with speakers talking for 20 minutes to be followed by an interactive opportunity of 40 minutes for comments, questions and answers.
