With the race now on to become our next leader, questions surrounding Brexit and our future relationship with Europe will be their main preoccupation. As hustings take place around the UK, LDEG Vice Chair, Nick Hopkinson, offers some possible questions members may wish to ask the candidates. Those on social media may wish to respond with the answers they receive!

1. How do you see Brexit unfolding (or further unravelling) in the coming months?
2. How can we achieve an Exit from Brexit, in particular in Parliament?
3. Should there still be a People's Vote if Parliament revokes Article 50? 4. How can the People's Vote campaign be strengthened? 5. Is it time to launch a parallel all party Stay campaign?
6. If Brexit is stopped, what domestic policies can help build support for the EU and ensure the experience of the past three years is not repeated?
7. Should Liberal Democrats press for Leveson 2 and a review of the BBC, in particular how they cover the EU and Brexit? 8. How can we best restore Britain's standing and influence in the EU and the world?
9. What is your vision for the U.K. and Europe in 10 years?
