About LDEG

We aim to achieve the objects set forth in the Preamble to the Federal Constitution of the Liberal Democrats, support the election of Liberal Democrats as Members of Parliament and members of local and other elected public authorities, admit and actively recruit new members to the Liberal Democrats, participate in the formulation of the policy of the Liberal Democrats, promote diversity of cultures and represent the interests of under-represented groups, campaign for UK membership of the European Union (EU) and peace, prosperity and liberal values in Europe by informing, assisting and motivating Liberal Democrat Party ('Party') members and the public.

We were originally found in 1993 and have since grown to be one of the Liberal Democrat's largest internal party organisations.
